Today we went on a group excursion to the Vincent Van Gogh Museum. I knew a few facts about him from taking a art class last summer but he work never really touched me like it does for others. It was nice to see the Sunflower painting in person, the colors were very bright and eye catching. Some of husband other work didn’t seem to have much meaning to me even after I read the description card (for ex. Red Onions & Cabbage). After the museum we went to go find a specific souvenir shop because that was the least expensive one we’ve seen since we’ve been here and they had nice things. We took the tram all the way the Manga Plaza where we had walked around for about 20 mins trying to remember which direction the store was in. Eventually we found it and then ate at the Pancake restaurant which turned out to actually be crepes. The crepes where ok but i definitely prefer pancakes over crepes. After dinner, we walked about 15 mins to get on a boat for our canal tour. Our tour guide crazy Jack was great! He was very entertaining and informative, I’m very please with the tour guides in Amsterdam compared to the ones in Berlin. Later that night we had to make an unexpected trip to the hospital because Taylor was in pain. We rode in a Tesla which was pretty cool.
