The first night in the hostel was great. The beds were way more comfortable than the ones in Berlin and the rooms were more spacious as well. Breakfast was the same, breads, sliced meats, yogurt, and fruit. I’ve noticed how their breakfast is very light compared to America’s pancakes, eggs, sausage etc. After breakfast we went on a two hour walking tour which was pretty fun. I learned a lot about the city and the history of the city. (Amsterdam was built only 800 years ago) Our tour guid Kor, a Dutch native was very entertaining he made the tour fun and poked good fun at us Americans. After the walking tour we went to the mall which was a shoe box compared to the malls in Berlin they didn’t have many stores inside. Later that night we ate pasta at the hostile which was pretty tasty then me and Chanel went to a comedy show that our tour guide was a headliner for. The comedy show was good, some of the European jokes flew over my head but it was as funny as expected. Great experience.
