Day 15 - Glyptotek (JR)

On Tuesday, the group went to the Glyptotek Museum in the morning. After the museum, the girls and I went to grab lunch and souvenir shop. Later in the day, the group went on a canal tour. After the tour, the girls and I went grocery shopping and we cooked a meal in the hostel public kitchen.

Everyone met in the lobby at 10:00 am to head to the Glyptotek building. The museum was only a couple of minutes from the hostel. On Tuesdays, the admission was free so that was one less expense :).  Upon arrival there was a long line to receive a ticket to enter the exhibits. They had free lockers so that you could put your belongings in there while you went through the museum.

Upon entering the main part of the museum, there was a big courtyard full of plants and trees. It looked almost as if we had found a safari. Everyone started at one point and ended up a different points. The French and Danish sculptures and paintings were beautiful. Each exhibit ended at a new location in the museum. It seemed as if we were never going to finish. One of the coolest aspects of the museum was the rooftop. Of course, the opportunity presented itself and Ev and I had a photoshoot.  I spent about two hours in the museum and then headed back to the hostel. Ev and  I went out to get out last souvenirs and grabbed chicken pitas for lunch.

At 4:00, we had a group canal tour. It lasted an hour and fifteen minutes. After the canal tour, the girls and I went to the store to buy ingredients to make spaghetti for dinner. We went back to the hostel played a few rounds of team ping pong and then made dinner together. I went back to the room and rested for the rest of the night.
